Magic Seen Iss 73 (February 2017)

£2.99

Welcome to volume 13! If we were in any way superstitious we would jump straight to volume 14, but since that would cause magazine collectors to have a panic attack, we decided to swerve that idea. So what’s the best way to get a new volume off to the best start? Well, we reckon that having top sleight of hand magician Eric Jones on cover is a great way. He may look super cool and as you will discover, if you catch him on his upcoming UK lecture tour, may really know his stuff, but it was not always so, as we discovered when we dug a little deeper.

Ever wanted to get work on cruise ships? Well, it’s not all long lazy days basking in the sun on deck as you will realise when you read Deputy Editor Graham Hey’s account inside. Graham is a terrific comic, and so he also enjoyed putting together another collection of great one liners from a number of award winning comics – laugh, I nearly got this Editorial in on time!

So what else are we offering you? Let me see…..Creativity is a wonderful asset to have in any act, and Jonathan Goodwin contributes an interesting article all about its importance and how you can achieve it. Leo Smetsers finds himself On The Psychiatrist’s Couch, Jay Fortune puts the spotlight on another wonderful altruistic magic project based in the USA, and there’s a report on the latest Session Convention in London. Plus lots more…
