Mouse Trap Card Find

A spectator draws a freely selected food card.  The card is put back in the deck and the spectator shuffles the cards.  The magician arms the trap and places it on the spectator’s outstretched hand, palm up.  Stroking one card, face down, at a time over the trap and you wait for it to go off.  The suspense builds!  It really does!  “BANG!  The trap snaps shut!  The card inside the trap is the spectators chosen card.

It gets a strong reaction!

You can use your own playing cards or the food ones that come with the this effect.

Please Note: The spring fitted in the trap is totally safe and it would not cause any harm should it catch any fingers
